Our Mr Sutherland has been involved in criminal defence for over 15 years.  Mr Sutherland was the criminal partner with another firm before making the decision to open his own firm with a number of trusted colleagues.  Mr Sutherland appears regularly in the Sheriff and District courts throughout the country and also instructs counsel in the High Court on a regular basis. 

Mr Sutherland has been involved in a number of high profile cases throughout his years in the profession and has dealt with a variety of criminal matters from 'running a red light' to murder.

David Fisken

After being admitted as a solicitor in 2005 and having undertaken a general traineeship, Mr Fisken decided to specialise in criminal defence.  He has been involved in a number of high profile cases in recent years and appears in criminal courts throughout Scotland.  In 2022 he was admitted as a Solicitor Advocate and now conducts trials in the High Court of Justiciary, as well as regularly appearing in the Sheriff and Justice of the Peace Courts. 

He has also maintained a keen interest in wills and executries and has dealt with estates ranging in value from a few hundred pounds to those in excess of £1 Million.

Mr Fisken served as President of the Glasgow Bar Association in 2021-22.

Lesley Robb

Having qualified in 1996 Ms Robb has practiced solely as a court solicitor. She has worked for several Firms since qualifying. She regularly conducts cases in Sheriff Courts in various parts of Scotland and is highly experienced in advocacy.

She is a member of the Family Law Association and has a particular interest in family law matters including separation, divorce, cohabitation, contact and residence of children, and parental rights and responsibilities. She also appears at children hearings and at childrens referrals.

Kevin Murphy

Mr Murphy qualified as a solicitor in 2004, having studied law at Glasgow University.  Kevin has experience in all aspects of family and civil litigation and appears frequently in Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland.

Ms Mulholland is a highly experienced litigator who joined the firm in 2022 when we expanded into Springburn.  She has experience of conducting cases, both civil and criminal, in Sheriff Courts throughout the country and her professionalism has seen her elected to the position of Vice President of the Glasgow Bar Association for 2022-23.
